Penelope is our sweet, feisty girl who won our hearts from the moment she was born. What makes her extra special is that she was the first baby to be born here at Van-Mar in over four years. She is our first generation Van-Mar to Van-Mar breeding and we are thrilled with how she is turning out. Her first shows in 2016 proved successful with Penelope earning her first AKC major win towards her Championship. In January 2017 she earned the title of Best in Show Sweepstakes at the Inland Hound Association show beating an entry of over 100 puppies. She finished easily with four majors. Penelope now enjoys the retired life with her new family and spends her days snuggling and camping whenever she can.
